Broadband for rural homes and businesses

Before Voneus, there was no capacity for a high-speed broadband connection here. Their fast broadband has helped us significantly optimise what we do as a business, including seamlessly taking payments in our shop and café. The high-speed WiFi has also let us take contactless donations, which have been invaluable for the continual upkeep of the Cathedral.

Without Voneus, working from home would be impractical. My wife and I are now able to productively work from home as part of larger teams over the internet. We communicate with our colleagues over VoIP calls and video meetings. In the evenings we mainly stream shows and movies from Netflix, which was simply not possible on our old broadband connection.

After all the understandable delays (Covid, etc), Voneus have installed the fibre broadband and it is fantastic, fast and stable. The original fixed wireless broadband was getting better, (but still prone to dropouts, fluctuations etc) however the fibre is a quantum leap in connectivity. The installers were very prompt, friendly, helpful and courteous. Happy customer!

We actually get better broadband speeds at our Caravan from Voneus, than we do at home (which is 25-minutes away from the campsite) with Sky! Their engineer was efficient, speedy, and clear, and happily came back with in minutes when I couldn’t connect my smart TV to the network. Excellent service!
